Project
Agronutri
The AgroNutri project is a vertically integrated poultry (chicken) and pork production operation located in the province of Malanje, Angola. This project aims to reduce the country's dependence on meat imports and establish a large-scale domestic industry. The primary objectives of this initiative are not only to meet the demand for food but also to generate employment for ex-soldiers and provide dividends for the Pension Fund for former members of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA).
- Providing FAA veterans with employment opportunities through agricultural activities and the potential to earn additional income.
- Utilizing the profits from the operation to capitalize the FAA’s pension fund, thereby enhancing its long-term sustainability and reducing reliance on the national budget (OGE).
- Producing more than 50 tons of animal protein annually.
- Supplying high-quality animal protein (meat) for the Angolan Armed Forces, the national market, and for export.
- Significantly contributing to Angola's food security and reducing food imports, resulting in substantial foreign currency savings for the country.
